A depiction of two neutron stars orbiting each other about to merge. The trails of curved borosilicate glass show the gravitational waves of the two orbiting bodies. The marble stars are made of a mixture of different shades of blue borosilicate glass shaped with graphite, with clear blue gravitational waves.
Lorelei Silbernagel
Art Department, 3D4M, Class of 2028
As a Seattle based 3D artist, Lorelei Silbernagel primarily works with glass and metal. Currently, she attends the University of Washington pursuing an undergraduate degree in 3D Art and Communications. Lorelei is inspired by her late grandfather who encouraged her to pursue her artistic endeavors. In her free time, she works as a photographer for UW magazine club, Muse and teaches painting classes to both children and adults.
